Hi, I'm Ana Kielly and I host Tumeke Music Show

I am of Tuhoe & Ngati Kahungungu descent. I have been in operations for 11 years now. I originally started out in radio as a volunteer back in 2006 for 1 year, hosting a one hour show called ‘Tumeke Music Show’ featuring Maori Language, New Zealand Music, news, events and interviews. The following year 2007 I gained casual employment for a couple of months until successfully placing a full time position.

Through the years I have done just about everything within the radio industry, trained as a live announcer, hosting various shows which has enabled to me to become more versatile and well out of the ‘comfort zone’ I’ve been used to.

Today, the challenges continue, I am more behind the scenes, upskilling and training staff, students and volunteers that come through. I also deal with daily operations as well.

Hi, I'm Katherine Bone and I host Deadly Vibes Show

I am of Karingbal descent. I gained employment in 2014 as a live announcer for the ‘Deadly Vibes Show’ featuring a variety of music from all genres, news, events and interviews daily. Although I started out pre-recording, it didn’t take me long before I picked up the ‘ropes’ and was hosting ‘live to air’ shows.

Through the years I have trained in Brisbane gaining Certificate within the industry and participated in community events like Harmony Day Celebrations at St Joseph’s School, NAIDOC Celebrations annually and FOGS Expo Day promoting the radio industry.

Today I continue to host a live show from Monday to Friday.
